Photos for business or professional use can greatly benefit from retouching. Some images may only require basic edits to ensure proper reproduction, but others, especially business portraits, often need more comprehensive retouching to enhance their quality and polish.

Many companies opt for a budget photographer, mistakenly assuming that all photographers deliver the same level of quality. But a significant part of my retouching work is fixing poorly shot photos. In some cases, the retouching has cost more than the original photography. Do yourself a favour and hire the best photographer you can afford rather than the cheapest you can get away with.

It's essential to present your best self in your business headshot. This isn't vanity, it's a crucial aspect of effective marketing. We judge competence, friendliness, and trustworthiness based on a person's appearance. A healthy look, a nice smile, and a sparkle in the eyes can make all the difference.

Please note that I work only with digital files. I do not scan film, negatives, slides or paper prints.

For the retouching, your photo(s) should be the highest resolution available. Working with a high-resolution image allows for more precise edits which will produce better retouching results.
